Office 2010 Professional marks the start of a new era for Microsoft's Office applications, a global standard. It includes classic versions of the most well-known applications, as well as new web versions of Word, Excel, and so on. The latter allow you to be productive practically anywhere.
Another new feature is full support for the ISO-certified Open XML file format. It comes with ribbon-style menus. Therefore, the Office suite will have a similar look to Windows 7 and the Office button will also have new functionality.
